You can see The Nutcracker from November 29—December 29 at the beautiful Citizens Bank Opera House.
The lovely mansions of Newport, RI, put on their holiday finest for Christmas at the Newport Mansions. Tour The Breakers, The Elms, and Marble House, emblems of America’s Gilded Age and National Historic Landmarks. The houses are filled with dozens of Christmas trees, poinsettias, and flowers, and they show off their amazing décor. As you leave, you’ll see individual white candles in every window.
Thanks to its Christmas Prelude, Kennebunkport, ME, was named the #2 Christmas Town in America by HGTV. Since this festival takes place in Maine, a highlight is the arrival of Santa Claus by lobster boat. With eleven days of celebration, the Christmas Prelude is known for its tree-lighting ceremonies, concerts, chowder and lobster roll luncheons, caroling, arts and craft fairs, and many more events.
